In 2007, based on the demands of an important client, Quattor launched the HF-2007 resin, PELBD with a hexane base and with no anti-blocking additives or gliding agents. Its main application is industrial sack manufacturing for multi sheets applications over 25kg , due to its high blocking ability, CoF and mechanical resistance. Surprisingly this same resin showed excellent performance in another application, blow molding stretch film, especially due to its high resistance, low streak incidence (which is a critical characteristic to this process) and good adhesion. This resin has shown continuous growth in market share. From its launch to the beginning of this year, there has been an increase of approximately 80% in the number of clients using this grade of resin.
