The petrochemical sector is divided into first, second, and third generation manufacturers. The entire manufacturing cycle is initiated by petroleum, and natural gas. Starting with crude oil extraction, and refinement, and natural gas fractionation, the main raw materials for the petrochemical units are obtained: naphtha, and natural gas.
