A company’s accident rate is is calculated based on the frequency and severity of accidents.
The “FR – Frequency Rate” represents the frequency of accidents with leave, and the “SR – Severity Rate” determines how severe the accidents with leave were.
It is necessary to consider both rates in order to evaluate the organizations safety, as shown below:
